This twelve-block classic Christmas heirloom appliqué quilt wins show awards year after year. The set includes instructions for hand or machine appliqué techniques. Also instructions for making wall hangings from individual blocks. The larger image is from Margo Claybo of Cleveland, Tennessee, the quilt with the beige background was done by Jean Houghtby, winning Viewer's Choice at the Capital Quilters' Guild show in Raleigh, NC. The quilt with the white background and scalloped border was done by Debra Ramsey, winning 2 best of shows in local clubs, an honorable mention in Grand Rapids, MI, and Best Appliqué from the Lakefarm Park show in Kirkland, Ohio. Sara Rae was creative with her leaf and pear border, and revised the pipers to bagpipers, true to her Scottish heritage.
