I just finished fusing all my critters for the Forest Panel. I LOVE appliqué, and tiny pieces (like noses and pink inner ears) challenge and delight me!
Anyway, I can’t recall when I’ve had so much fun, watching these funny little dancing critters come to life! Finding fabrics in my stash has been rewarding, too. Your patterns and directions have been wonderful, and I anxiously await constructing and machine appliquéing all.
My guild has offered a unique challenge to go along with our spring quilt show... I immediately thought of these fun-loving, dancing critters and Van Morrison’s song “Moondance.” I may actually make little white rose “leis" for the critters to wear as they dance in the moonlight. The jury’s still out on that.
